Skill Tree - Baton Bomber¶
You will mainly use the ability of an action of the Stab Bombancer,out of the shadows, here. Skill Tree - Magic Shot¶

Hero Stats and Backstory¶
Since you're using From The Shadows, you don't need skill points as the action skill guarantees critical hits. In this case, you can put your points into Strength early on and then work on your attunement to reduce the cooldown of your Action Skills. If you want more survivability, you can work on Constitution to increase his health and maximum defenses. Obviously the best backstory here is Village Idiot, due to the huge power boost he receives.
magic¶
There are two spells you can use on this build thatBuff-Meister. This legendary spell is just a World Drop and when used it acts as a general buff on your character, increasing the damage it does. It is not strictly necessary as it is possible to use other spells to help against bullying if you wish. Your best bet to get one of these is to keep making the Chamber of Chaos and then spend all your crystals on the rabbit, which ends up spitting out spells. You'll probably want to use this against bosses, but there's another spell that goes with this build.

Whatarcane barrageit's a great spell for this build, especially when you get the other team to go along with it. The reason this is a great spell is because of its cooldown, as Arcane Bolt has one of the shortest cooldowns in the game. Once you get the mentioned Theurge charm in the gear, every time you cast a spell, you get an action skill cooldown, so you understand the point of this spell. Ideally, you want this spell in the dark magic variant, due to the abilities in the trees mentioned above.
Waffen¶
There are some powerful weapons in this game, but this version focuses on the maker of Blackpowder, mainly pistols and shotguns. One in particular you're looking for is the Riveter Sootcough Epic rarity, which deals decent damage and fires multiple bullets with each shot. If you're familiar with previous Borderlands games, this works similarly to the Masher weapon type, where the pistol acted like a shotgun. If you can get that thing on the ground where Cross Bolts deal 3% more damage per target stuck, you're onto something.

Another gun that works very well is themaster bow. Critical hits with this will bounce six bullets and reload your clip for continuous firing, especially during From the Shadows. Another weapon you can use is the timpani, a shotgun that shoots a lot of buckshot, especially if you can get a x21 or higher. If you want to go furtherarrow kingdomis another shotgun you can use. When you do this, you should see an icon on the ground that is your designation for the special ability. When the weapon is fired, a shower of arrows hits this icon, dealing heavy damage.

They won't actually deal melee damage, but there are two melee weapons that do have passive buffs. the first thatGoblin Spitzhacke, it basically makes it so that you get the cast/action ability cooldown when you pick up gold (as well as movement speed). However, if you can get Amp'd on the weapon, you can empower your next three weapon attacks for the next ten seconds. The other melee weapon, theskillet, gives you a bit of survivability as it reduces bullet/shell damage from behind by 90% while holstered. When fighting in close combat with this weapon, you have a 90% chance to deflect incoming bullets (in the holster it becomes 15%).
gear¶
The rings you probably want to wear are instantmood rings, since his special ability amplifies its effect when your defense is not full. Preferably have weapon damage on the top stat and pistol or shotgun related stuff on the bottom (action skill can work on passives as well). Another ring that you can use is thechampionship ring, since it allows you to increase its effects when you damage a boss. For the amulet, theMomentumis what you want here, since you get an action skill cooldown every time you use a spell.

For Wards, you have two options here, either thebody runeor thedamn joke. If you want maximum damage, Cursed Wit is a good option, but you won't get much survivability from it. However, the body rune makes you harder to kill as you recover 15% health on killing an enemy. for the armor thatsmart armoris ideal as it increases the damage of your critical hits at the expense of your critical strike chance. Since From the Shadows will be your action skill, you don't have to worry about critical strike chance.
incantations¶
Ideally, you should focus on enchantments on your spell, protection, and melee weapons, as you will always benefit from them. Something like "At action skill start", it can increase both damage dealt and weapon damage. You can also add Gun Damage for On Spell Cast. If you're using a weapon like the Catatumbo, increasing the lightning damage and/or elemental damage also works pretty well.

playing style¶
Most of your damage from this build is dealt during From the Shadows. You'll pop this, use your weapons to deal maximum damage in the process, and then head out. When not in From the Shadows, cast Arcane Bolt to reduce the cooldown of From Your Shadows. You should avoid using the Reign of Arrows shotgun against normal enemies as it can consume your ammo quite quickly. The Catatumbo / Masterwork Handbow / Epic Rarity Pistol are your weapons of choice, as is the Kettledrum shotgun. Reign of Arrows is likely to be your go-to weapon for bosses, though all the others will work with this version as well.
